First Marking Period coming to a close!

The first marking period ends tomorrow!  Wow that went quick!  I hope you had some fun in science so far.  We are currently finishing up our crash simulations and learning about Newton’s Laws.  Tomorrow is the last day to turn in any work from the first marking period.

Extra Credit Question:

Use Newton’s 1st law to explain why a spaceship wouldn’t need to use its engine to maintain a constant speed in outer space.

Extra Credit Question

A train travels at 50 km/hr for 7 hours.  The train stops to let off passengers and then travels at 5,000 m/hr for 120 minutes.  How far did the train travel total in km?

Show all your work for full credit!
